About Paul
Paul started his formal art training at Warrington School of Art in 1972 where he was awarded
the John Middleton travel bursary.
He gained a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (Painting) from Stoke on Trent School of Art ,
(North Staffordshire Polytechnic) and is a postgraduate of Goldsmiths College,
University of London.
For 10 years Paul taught art in several inner London comprehensive schools before moving
to Shrewsbury to continue teaching in Shropshire. Since 1997 Paul has been living and
working in Cornwall.
He has exhibited work in many group shows including exhibitions at;

Paul Geraghty is a member of the National Acrylic Painters Association, (NAPA), holding the post of
Director from 2013 to 2016 and continues as an active committee member.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
